ONE

Name:Coy Cao
Nationality:China
Department:MBU-Technology Center
Date of Joining:2004

Coy Cao is a member of the Technology Center of MBU. Since joining Minth, he has risen from a frontline employee to a director, constantly embracing new challenges and transforming his experiences into growth and expertise.
As Minth expanded globally, Coy Cao committed to learning English. He set a daily goal of memorizing 30 words, focusing on practical words related to customer assessment and reception. Additionally, he uses bits of time to learn by listening to podcasts on his way to and from work. "Now, I can communicate with global clients, understand their needs, and feel a sense of accomplishment." he says. "This has shown me the value of continuous self-improvement." In his role, he led the formation of the Battery Cell Casing Product team, drove customer development, and achieved technical breakthroughs. He set high performance standards, tackled technical challenges, and fostered a culture of trust and respect within his team. "To achieve our goals, we must be willing to try anything while optimizing our methods," he explains. "Over time, this mindset of perseverance becomes a habit."

Coy admits, "I used to easily get into arguments because I was stubborn and unwilling to accept others' suggestions." However, through continuous learning and personal growth, he learned to appreciate the unique value of each individual. "Differences are normal, and I won't dismiss someone,I can express my own ideas, I'm also willing to listen to others." In team discussions, he highlights each member's strengths, encourages open communication, and inspires innovative thinking. As a result of his influence, team members have also begun to learn the philosophy of Overall Wellness, becoming more accepting and tolerant of themselves and others, and maintaining a humble mindset to continue to learn and grow!
Coy firmly believes, "I can fail, but I must never be defeated."

Steps to the Top:
Balance and Harmony in Climbing
TWO

Name:Olivera Jeremić
Nationality:Serbia
Department:BBU-MAE Loznica Plant
Date of Joining:2022

Olivera is 50 years old this year. Her father was a mountaineer and gymnast, and her family has always placed great importance on a healthy lifestyle and outdoor activities. Influenced by her parents from a young age, she developed healthy habits.
Olivera believes that sufficient sleep and rest are crucial. She always goes to bed early and wakes up early, rising at 5 a.m. to maintain mental clarity and focus, preparing herself for the day ahead. Every morning, she does 100 squats and 100 arm exercises, followed by a cold shower to boost blood circulation. Olivera loves mountaineering and enjoys foraging for wild fruits, mushrooms, and tea leaves in the mountains, using these ingredients to brew tea. Although she loves good food, she controls her portions after long hikes. In her daily life, she avoids processed foods as much as possible and never eats dinner too late.
There were times when she felt physically exhausted just before reaching the summit, but she firmly believes that strong willpower can overcome difficulties, and she always succeeds in reaching the top. Her most unforgettable experience was climbing a mountain in Albania during a hot July. Despite running out of water and food, she persevered, taking small steps forward, and eventually reached the summit. During her climbs, she sometimes has to sleep in tents, carrying her tent, food, and water on her back, and even facing situations where her gear gets soaked by heavy rain. She is one of the few women who have completed a 5-day, 160-kilometer expedition with a 26-kilogram backpack.

For Olivera, health is not just about the body but also the mind. Even when she doesn't have enough time to prepare for every climb, she still moves forward courageously. One of the reasons she loves mountaineering is that it fosters connections between people. During climbs, people support each other and naturally build friendships.
Olivera says: "We should choose a balanced path and avoid extremes. We should find what we love and live in harmony with nature, as it provides us with abundant resources." Through mountaineering and daily exercise, Olivera demonstrates the profound impact of physical activity on both body and mind, embodying a healthy lifestyle that emphasizes perseverance and coexistence with nature.

From Stray to Stay:
Henryk's New Life
THREE

Name:Henryk
Nationality:Poland
Position:BBU-Minth Poland-Chief Happiness Officer
Date of Joining: 2023

Minth Poland, a full-process battery housing factory established by BBU in 2023, is located in the town of Szprotawa, Poland. Officially registered in August 2022, the construction of the factory began in September 2022. During the building process, a simple yet heartwarming story unfolded.
One day in April 2023, when the temperature in Poland was around 0°C, employees were hurrying about their day. At the entrance of the temporary canteen at Minth Poland, a thin and scruffy stray dog appeared, its eyes filled with helplessness. The employees didn't ignore or shoo it away because of its dirty appearance. Instead, many fed the dog and even crouched down to play with it. The little dog seemed to sense their kindness and happily interacted with everyone.
From that day on, the dog became a regular at the Minth Poland construction site. Every day, its small and agile figure could be seen running and jumping around the site. The employees affectionately named it "Xiao Neng." As time went on, the bond between the employees and Xiao Neng grew stronger, and they hoped it could stay. Eventually, Xiao Neng was officially adopted by the Public Relations Manager of Minth Poland. After a full health check and vaccinations, it became one of the "employees" of Minth Poland and was given a new name—Henryk.

Henryk was "inspecting" in the office
Today, Henryk remains active at Minth Poland, often seen in the office building, where it has become a "star employee." Clients visiting the site love to pet its head and play with it. Occasionally, when it mischievously rummages through trash bins, EHS staff lure it away with sandwiches to prevent it from eating anything harmful. As a "founding employe" of Minth Poland, Henryk even enjoys some "privileges." For example, while other employees are hard at work during office hours, it leisurely naps on a soft mat, snoring away—a sight everyone has grown accustomed to. These heartwarming moments add vitality to the office and make everyone feel a sense of home.
The friendly interactions between Minth Poland employees and Henryk paint a beautiful picture of harmony between humans and animals, reminding us of the warmth that comes from such relationships.
